1) набор всех файлов, необходимых для составления готовой к использованию версии программы. Проект большого приложения состоит из сотен файлов, поэтому требует наличия специальной программы, отслеживающей все их изменения и версии
2) в реляционных СУБД - операция, заключающаяся в исключении столбцов из одной или нескольких таблиц и создании из них новой таблицы
